My home wifi network wont show up in the available networks but it is showing on all phones and other laptops in house. Last night it was working properly but from morning it wont even show the network.

I am using windows 10 laptop which is recently bought. There are lots of factors that cause this internet connection issue. The most common cause is due to some program components that are corrupted and update is necessary.

Can your device see any other wireless networks, i. Is AirPlane mode enabled? Has the Wireless Adaptor become disabled? Have you had a change of Firewall? If there are no other Wireless networks in your area, can you enable hotspot on your phone and see if the PC can see this?

Other wireless networks are showing up but the router in my home is not showing up even though Im sitting right next to it. But the net works if im using ether net cable. Then go back into Device Manager and see if the device is re-detected. After a reboot the network device should be detected and may implement some changes as part of the redetection. In reply to Sainadh63\’s post on January 8, Are you able to confirm that the Wifi network being broadcast by your router is not set to hidden? Yeah it is not hidden since other laptops are getting connected and also the mobile phones. In reply to Sainadh63\’s post on January 9, Can you uninstall the Wireless Adaptor through the Device Manager and then reboot the PC using Powershell with the following command: restart-computer -force Then go back into Device Manager and see if the device is re-detected.
