I recently installed Office Personal edition in my laptop (Windows 10 build ) after deleting the old office I had for some time. @Microsoft – We need a fix to this, it has been happening for several weeks now. I had the exactly same issue with Outlook after some. If you have not updated the salesforce add-in for some time, you should update it as soon as possible.
